2. Compare the promise with the plan
Ask for the approved floor plans, the unit sizes and the specification list in writing. Sizes can be quoted as carpet, built-up or super built-up area, so confirm which one you are being shown.
3. Know the possession date
The RERA-registered completion date is your reference. Ask how much of the structure is complete, and see the site for yourself.
4. Visit the location at different times
Go once on a weekday morning and once in the evening. Check the road access, the noise, and how long the trip to your school or workplace really takes.
5. Read the fine print
Check the payment schedule, what the price includes, and what is charged extra (parking, maintenance deposit, registration).
6. Ask about after-sales support
